This game was made for the O2A2 VN Jam 2024, a micro Visual Novel jam with strict asset limitations and a 1000 word limit.

It's recommended to play the game fullscreen.

Note for mobile users: The game wasn't made with mobile in mind, but it should run fine. I'll recommend putting your phone horizontal/landscape.

Content Warnings:

The game features the following content that may be disturbing:

  • Mentions of family rejection, LGBTQ-phobia
  • Mental Health issues (depression)
  • Content representing and involving death.
A short game on parenthood, gender-queerness, love and acceptance.

It's getting late.

Oh, he left me a message.

I think I'll go home, now.

I absolutely loved this! The clear premise drew me in from the get-go and kept me hooked until the end. There's so much to love. The moody visuals that kept me on my toes and played into the main character's desperate state, including those blurry street lights you can barely make out, the constant raindrops, the slight disorientation that builds, that one sound effect that crushed me, and the gentle rain in the background. Fantastic!
